Hi, Chadwick community. I know from firsthand experience that you all have a lot of problems and would maybe like some guidance in your life. Instead of turning to any of the amazing resources potentially available to you such as close family, friends, or trusted adults, I’m glad that you decided to ask me!
My IAW students keep sneaking their phones on our expeditions. They usually do this to a) set up a date or b) break up with a date. What should I do?
If you don’t want phones on the trip, you could maybe try cutting the middleman and just inviting the dates to go on the trip, too. This would really facilitate the healthy communication that makes for a good, long-lasting relationship. At that point, you might as well invite all of the students’ friends to go backpacking with you. The more the merrier! Plus, who could your students text if everyone they know is there?
There’s this advice for the Mainsheet form that I don’t know how to answer. What should I do
It seems like you figured it out! My work here is done.
im tired a lot
Have you tried sleeping? This typically works for me! 🙂
Hope, what if I want to start my own advice column? Do you have any advice?
My first piece of advice is to back off. My second piece of advice is to back off. My third, fourth, and fifth, etc. etc. etc. etc. advice is to BACK OFF. It’s ok to want to be creative and start something new. But know that I will fight you like a territorial wolf fights off intruders to the den. You can go ahead and start that column. I’ll be watching.
I forgot so much of what we learned in class after Winter Break. My French, in particular, is getting worse. My classmates are mostly on their computers during lectures. Also, my science class is boring.
(No French? No problem! All you need to do to get better at French is to keep practicing. For example, you can read this part of my answer, which I kindly translated for you using Google Translate.) Hey, speaking of Google Translate, maybe you can just use that. Also, if a majority of your classmates are on their computers during class, then you probably should be, too. Trust me, you’re doing this high school thing all wrong if you aren’t looking at everyone else and copying them. You need to start being more worried about fitting in with those around you, especially if you disagree with their guiding morals. As for your science class… Are you in AP Bio?
How can I get a valentine for the upcoming holidays?
If you aren’t already working towards becoming someone you’re not, then you’re never going to have a chance at true, authentic love. All of you sad singles looking for valentines need to stop doing all of that dumb stuff that you “genuinely enjoy” and start some new hobbies that have always worked to woo the ladies. Try starting some typically attractive hobbies such as hunting, gathering, and brewing cures for village ailments. If that doesn’t work, you could always grow increasingly self conscious of your appearance and personality. Maybe being insecure will somehow passively make you a better person. There’s only one way to find out, so start lowering that self-esteem as soon as possible!
I’m kind of addicted to scrolling on reels and TikTok pls help.
I, too, used to be addicted to scrolling on reels, but now, I’m completely healed. I don’t even have Instagram or TikTok anymore! After about six months of no social media, I still found myself wishing I could scroll on Instagram almost every day. Worried that this urge would push me to give in to my addiction, I sought to find other solutions. I found that it’s really easy to stop being addicted to something; you just have to find something worse and more addictive to focus on instead. Snapchat Spotlights was my savior. Why spend all of your time scrolling through a hyper-personalized feed when you could be scrolling through a slightly less personalized feed, watching wedding fails and Piper Rockelle vlogs?
